It was after a painful loss that I began to illustrate exposed bodies and after sharing a few sketches, I was convinced to publish more. A few strokes of charcoal divide a flat expanse of paper and seem to illustrate the fragility of life in its most vulnerable form. Simultaneously, their strong lines have the transformative energy to create meaning from the void: it is up to you to fill this crack in space and time with meaning”.
