How can we visualize something as abstract as a “problem”?
This poster entitled “Beautiful problem” by Jaron Su represents a woman from behind with a unique grey hair, it symbolizes the fact that the problems of our existence are inevitably beautiful: because we are.
Jaron Su’s art wants to put a smile on our face. Jaron was born and raised in Taiwan but has been living in Eindhoven, the Netherlands since 2014. His art is his life and vice versa; “When you look at my art, you get a slice of my life. A flower I spotted pendant my run from matin, a place we visited on vacation, a feeling, a story from friends, or something I saw or heard.”
“I feel things very strongly, and art is my way of expressing those feelings. I want to bring joy to people, but joy is never pure. There’s always a little bit of sourness in it. I think you have to accept that sourness in order to feel joy. If you look closely in my paintings, there is always a little twist.”
Details are important to Jaron, who said goodbye to large canvases years ago and has never looked back. “The plus small format is a sweet spot for me, where I can play with the details – All of my paintings tell a story, but I want you to get close to the art to see it.”
This poster on its own or in a composition will look equally at home in a bedroom, bureau or on your living room wall for a colorful, contemporary look.
