This poster entitled “Shapes 02” by Little Detroit represents abstract shapes à la both geometric and organic with bluish colors, on a beige background. The artist plays with shapes and colours, superimposing them and playing with their transparency, which leads to this beautiful and harmonious result.

Christine Brage, founder of Little Detroit is a Danish artist who works mainly with cut paper. She likes to experiment with different patterns, shapes and colours and most of her work is done freehand and without a specific plan.

“My dream has always been to make art in any form. Créer and expressing myself through art is a big part of me and who I am as a person.”

“I make art because I simply can’t stop. When I make art, time and space disappear pendant for a moment and for me, it’s my daily therapy and mindfulness.”

She draws inspiration from wherever she goes, but especially from her daily walks in nature. When asked to describe her art, she says: organic, calm and abstract.
“For me, art is the key to life.”
