The collection E1027 by atelier by Mintstudio is inspired by the iconic E1027 house on the French Riviera, designed by Irish designer Eileen Gray in 1927. With its clean, elongated lines, inspired by the textuality of the French Riviera blinds and Eileen Gray’s sensibility for subtle color play and geometric surfaces, the collection of prints takes the best of 20th century architecture and asserts its role as a modern, inspiring and relevant era encore today.
Cecile Svanberg is the head designer at Atelier by Mintstudio. She started créer art when she moved to Copenhagen and met other creative minds. “Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawing and doing creative things, but in Copenhagen, I discovered that I could actually do what I love for a living.”
Drawing inspiration from friends, mid-century artworks, appealing color combinations, strong creative women in history, love and life in general, Cecilie is known for adding a personal creative touch to her graphic solutions that are rooted in her belief that beauté lies in the detail.
When asked to describe her work, she says, “personal, textured and colorful and always rooted in my belief that beauté lies in the details.”
